Early November Construction Updates

The framework has been installed for the restrooms on the ground floor as have new water pipes near the Juedenstrasse door. Elsewhere, more drywall and wiring has been installed. That work is ongoing. Discussions have begun with the architects, electrical engineer and an acoustician about what needs to be done to bring the acoustics to the proper level of reverberation for singing and speaking. More will happen on that front after the wood floor is installed, walls plastered and ceiling finished. Hartmut Rademann, a master carver, has been retained to carve the crucifix for the chapel. He also plans to present designs for the altar, ambo and baptismal font.
