Creative Action for a Reformation 500 Club Commitment

The Sunday School at Grace Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota set a year-long goal of raising at least $500 for The Wittenberg Project, and a courageous young man named Jacob stepped up to offer himself for a ‘tonsure’ haircut if they did.  A tonsure is the famous clipping of the scalp by monks, including Martin Luther, leaving a ring of grown hair. After the May 15, 2016 service, young Jacob kept his promise.

Here is just one of several proof photos taken.  Way to go Jacob! And thank you to all the children and parents of Grace Lutheran for accepting the challenge to join the Reformation 500 Club!
